Life Lately

I was doing so good and then life got busy and this got neglected so I thought today would be a perfect day for a little picture update!

Here's what we've been up to lately...

We've been enjoying mom & dads new yard!!! It's huge and gorgeous and the past 2 Saturdays we have sat in chairs watching the kids play for hours and hours!

Looks like we need some more Bama shakers! Too much orange and blue in this picture! For the record, they were yelling roll tide! Poor kids, they are always so confused.

Notice anything in all of those pictures? Emma is quite the little protector.

My cousin got married & we enjoyed our last Alfano wedding for awhile. Five of us cousins have gotten married in the last year and it has been SO much fun! Congrats to Tommy & Michelle! The wedding was beautiful and I am so happy for yall!

My forever wedding date - He's pretty cute :)

We often look down off the couch to find this. Emma really struggles to get comfy in the apt....NOT! (Please excuse the dirty clothes on the floor, I promise we aren't slobs!!!!!)

Christen and I often text each other last minute for an afternoon Steel City Pops date & Friday was one of those days! It was SO needed and oh my goodness if you live in Birmingham, go there NOW. I've shared my love for them before and now that they introduced their cookie pops, my love grew deeper. They are out of this world!

I couldn't resist. She is just too cute. We had a rough week last week (more on that later) and we all felt a little emotionally drained when Friday rolled around...even this girl.

Emma playing at mom & dads again on Saturday! This time in the kids' baby pool. :)

Can you say melt my heart??? They sure do love their Uncle Ty!

Ty's cousin brought his new puppy to our Mothers Day lunch and I had a fit over her! Isn't she the cutest?? Emma loved her too!

That's about all we've been up to lately! There are only S I X more days of school and then my 6th year of teaching is over. I can't believe it! The end of the year is so bittersweet because summer is SO needed but those are my babies. And I don't want them to leave me! Cue all the tears.
