2015 Year in Review

Happy New Years Eve friends! I hope everyone has a wonderful night! I decided to jump on the bandwagon and do a year in review post so here we go! I did one last year and re read it this morning and I loved reliving those memories! So here we go...2015 with the Lathams!

We had some ups and downs in January. We spent  MLK weekend in one of our favorite places - Gatlinburg! We moon-shine-sample-hopped, went to Cades Cove, went on a hike, ate pancakes, and went zip lining!

We also lost my precious Granddaddy at the end of the month. He was my last grandparent so it was hard but I am so thankful he is in Heaven with my Meme and not in pain anymore.

February started off with a girls trip to my friend, Allison's house for a girls weekend! We had such a fun weekend shopping, eating, and catching up with each other.

I ended the month running the Mercedes marathon relay race with some friends!

March started with a trip to one of my favorite places - Athens! One of my lifelong friends Ashlyn got married and I loved seeing old friends and catching up!

In the middle of March my sweet college roommate Lauren and her family came to spend the day with us and we had a blast! Her sweet little one is just precious!

We celebrated Easter with both of our families..

And mom treated me to tickets to see Kenny Chesney!

In May we enjoyed the warmer weather by spending lots of time outside at mom and dad's!

My college friends and I also had a girls weekend at the lake!

And I had some special visitors read to my class at the end of the year!

May ended with an amazing trip with my cousin Karlie to New Orleans & Baton Rouge to see TSwift in concert!!!! We had the BEST time!!!

Whew, what a May! If possible, June was even busier!

The month started with a trip to Pigeon Forge with my sister and her family. We spent lots of time at Dollywood's water park and had a blast!

I got to see my high school besties for dinner one night before I flew out of Atlanta...

Then I spent 4 days in South Florida visiting my bestie Molly and her sweet family.

We lost Ty's sweet Uncle Jack very unexpectedly in June. He is the one on the right walking Ty's grandmother down the aisle at our wedding. I love this picture. He was such a sweet man and is sorely missed!

June ended with a rockin beach trip with Ty's family!

On July 4th we decided we would see how many people we could fit on one golf cart...

And spent ALOT of time here...

We also signed a contract on our first house and the sweet owners let us go in early and redo the floors and start painting. We spent our first anniversary painting our new master bedroom and then ate the top of our wedding cake! It was delicious!

This cutie also turned the big 3-0 on July 31st!

On August 2nd we moved into our house!!

Then I had meet the teacher and we celebrated Ty's 30th birthday on the same day.. Whew!

I started my 7th year of teaching and met my 16 sweet 1st graders!

I got my farmhouse table, thanks to my handy father in law! He is so talented!

I went to my hometown for the weekend for my 10 year high school reunion...

And we had lots of little visitors on the weekends...

I ended the month on another girls weekend to the lake!

In October, we welcomed sweet baby Grant into the family!

And Kate decided she loved Emma...

November started with a bang at Christmas village! Our favorite day of the year! :)

Emma snuggled a lot...

I spent the day in Huntsville loving on this baby...

And we celebrated Thanksgiving with crafts and yummy food!
We picked out our tree!

My bible study group made cute Christmas door hangers...

We had a warm month which called for Popsicle dates after school...

I hosted a cookie swap and we ate way too much...

and we loved celebrating this Christmas season with our family and friends!

Whew! What a year! Loved what 2015 brought us but so very excited about 2016!!!
