I ran 4 miles, played with Emma, had a great afternoon with Ty, cooked dinner, and lounged on the couch. :)

We were watching a dog competition where they had to go retrieve birds and ducks and Emma couldn't stop watching the tv, it was so funny. That's what the random picture of Emma watching the tv is of :)

Cousins wedding in the country

This weekend was my cousin, Gabrielle's Wedding! It was a beautiful weekend! The rehearsal dinner was in Eutaw, AL in a barn, wedding was outside on her (other) grandparent's property in Clinton, AL and the reception was in their barn on the same property. This setting made me break out my cowgirl boots and 2 cute dresses! Everything was absolutely beautiful! Their ceremony was at sunset on a pond and the pictures I took had the perfect backdrop.

I am so happy for her and her new hubby, Stewart! I can't wait to see what The Lord has in store for their future. Congrats you two!!!! Love y'all!!!

Babysitting

I got to babysit the kids last night and it was my first time to have all 4. I was nervous so I called in for backup...Ty came to help! Christen usually takes baby Kate wherever she is going so I only have 3. They went to Nashville for the weekend so mom and dad were coming to keep them for the weekend and I babysat until they got here last night. Kate slept most of the afternoon but when she woke up I was so glad Ty was there to help. 4 kids 4 and under is hard work! I really am not sure how christen does it everyday. Super mom for sure.

We watched 2 movies, had popcorn, painted nails, and had a pj party! They were all happy and fed when mom and dad got there so I'd call that a success! :)

Poppy

Ty rescued a sweet puppy (well, we thought she was a puppy) last week from an abandoned house. We tried to find a home for her but Ty's mom decided to keep her instead. :) We thought she was around 4 months old but the vet said about a year and a half. She is mostly lab but has to have something else in her because she is smaller than Emma and Emma still has some growing to do!

Ty kept calling her puppy and it turned into poppy so that is what has stuck! Ty's mom thinks its too manly but I think it's cute!!!!

She is so sweet and cuddly and I love that she will sit in my lap with me for long periods of time! Emma is still living life as a puppy and can't sit still for that long, ha!

Emma and poppy have been playing great with each other. Their favorite game is tug of war!! :)

I don't know how you can leave a puppy behind at a house that you moved out of but I am glad we gave poppy a loving home!!! She has already brought so much joy to us in just one week!

Water - Color Run

Can't believe I never blogged about this but I ran the Color Run on Labor Day and had a blast! It poured down rain the ENTIRE time so I didn't get the "full affect" of what it's supposed to be like so I think we are going to run it again next year. I ran it with my cousin Karlie and my friend Kristin. We had a great time even though we were wet and freezing! When we got done, it looked like we had been water-colored. I highly recommend doing this run if it comes to your city! It was a blast!!
