MIA

Sorry I've been missing for over a week. Thanksgiving break was amazing and going back to work this week along with getting ready for a craft show this weekend has kept me busy. I went to bed every night this week after 11pm, which results on one tired teacher.

Melissa, mom, and I did great at the craft show yesterday which was held at the church I grew up in. It was so good to see so many familiar faces!

Yesterday was also the SEC championship game so my cousin Karlie came home with me so we could all watch the game together.

After the craft show, mom & I went to Melissa's new house. It was so gorgeous and I am so happy for her!

We met back up with Karlie and Dad at home after we went to Melissa's house. The game started at 4 so we headed down to the man cave to watch the game!

I really have nothing more to say about he game other than WOW. What. A. Game. Both teams played their hearts out!! Very proud that we came out on top but Georgia is amazing and deserved it just as much as we did.

Day off!!!

This was only our 2nd day off all year and it has been fabulous! Rainy and freezing but that is just an excuse for fuzzy blankets, sweats, and making soup!!! I woke up around 9 & laid in my cumfy bed until about 11:30 watching Friends. That show seriously never gets old. I have watched every episode at least 20 times and I still laugh out loud hysterically!

I came over to Ty's house around noon and we have been on a criminal minds marathon for a few hours now! I made yummy potato soup & we've just been laying around playing with the dogs!

I have tried several potato soup recipes over the last few years and non of them have been good. I decided I would try one more time and if this one was another FAIL, I would just give up. Luckily, this recipe turned out so creamy and yummy!!! I will try to post the recipe tomorrow. There's nothing better on a cold day than some good ole potato soup. I wish I had a bread bowl from Panera to enjoy with it but oh well :)

I've been trying to get my Christmas list together today and I think I'm about half way done already! I think Ty and I are about to go to bass pro so he can pick some stuff out. He is SO hard to buy for because he never wants anything and when you ask him, he says "nothing". Hopefully we can find some stuff today!

If you had the day off like me, I hope you are enjoying yourself! Days off are so needed (in any profession) but teachers need one day off a week :) haha! Think we can arrange that?

I hope you thanked a veteran yesterday (or today). I am so thankful to all the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving our country!!!

Sunday after....

The Sunday after a loss BLOWS! I've been in a bad mood all morning and its all because of a football game. Stupid, I know. But I'm a sore loser and I am not afraid to admit it. I like to justify it by saying that its because THATS how much I love my tide! :)

I'm hoping a nice run will help me shake it off!!

What I've been up to...

Voting, making cute wooden 7 habits kids for my school, staring at the beautiful fall colors that have taken over my town, hanging out with Emma while daddy was away for work, and enjoying getting pictures of sweet baby Hagen!!!

Halloween puppies!

Poppy, Emma, and Nelly (Ty's grandmother's dog) had a blast Wednesday night with all the trick-or-treaters! Emma had to go up to each little kid licking them before they made their way to the door. We had tons of kids and got tired of getting up every two seconds so we all migrated out to the porch to finish off the night handing out candy! We had a great night looking at all the cute costumes! Ty even put on a cape and scary mask and scared a few poor kids. Ha!
