Day 15 - Bible Verse

Day 15 is your favorite bible verse

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

This verse has always been my life verse and this past year I have gone back to it many many times. I lost my job in May and was devastated. I loved my job. I loved the kids, the people I worked with, how the school ran, everything. I LOVED it! So to lose it unexpectedly, without knowing why or given any answers was just heartbreaking. I went back to this verse over and over throughout the summer. I was so blessed to get another job at the end of the summer, which was God's plan. This school year has been very challenging, so again...I keep referring back to this verse to assure me that this was God's plan and I am RIGHT where I am supposed to be. God knows whats best for me and He wants me at this school right now. I am bad about asking God, "why??" about everything in my life (when it doesn't go my way) and this verse has given me hope time and time again that He knows what He is doing and His plans are better than mine.

I hope everyone is having a GREAT Monday! I got contacts this morning and my eyes are still dilated and getting used to the contacts so I apologize if some words are misspelled...i am straining to see the computer! Ha! But yipppeee - no more glasses!!!!
