I've never been to school (as long as I can remember) when there was snow on the ground....today was a first! You'd think Alabama was starting to be a northern state or something...the roads didn't close, the grocery stores didn't sell out of milk and bread, the town didn't shut down, the schools didn't close. What is going on here??? We did go in at 10 (which I could seriously get used to...I even had time this morning to clean my nasty bathroom!) but school was not canceled...crazy times. I guess we've had so much lately (well, wayyy more than normal) that we are actually getting used to going on with life even when we get a 1/2 inch of snow. :) I heard the college kids causing a ruckus last night when I was trying to go to sleep. I knew they were playing in the snow and this morning I found this....

School was relaxing and refreshing today. Had a little more than 1/2 the kids in each class and the day went by so fast. I guess if we went in at 10 everyday, our pay might be cut and Lord knows we already don't get paid jack squat!
I had a very rough day yesterday and the good Lord knew I needed a day like today - slept in, easy day at work - Thank you Jesus for looking out for me.
