Emma - the duck hunter

We went to our friend's land on Monday to skeet shoot and train Emma! One of Ty's friends brought his dog who is unbelievably trained in duck hunting. Ty has been learning from him and slowly working with Emma! It's pretty gross watching her carry a dead duck in her mouth and lick it but I guess I need to get over that! Ty originally wasn't going to hunt with her but she has done so good with training that I think he has changed his mind. :)

I didn't do so hot skeet shooting...ok I did terrible. I think we figured out I was closing the wrong eye when shooting...oops. ;)

Birthday Goodies!

My birthday was this past Tuesday and I had a GREAT day! It started off great when the Starbucks drive thru lady gave me my drink for FREE! What a treat!

My kiddos were so sweet and brought me/made me some cute gifts! I got flowers, cards, and cupcakes!

That night Ty took me to dinner & I choose Cheesecake Factory and it was so yummy! We never go out to eat during the week so it was a treat! He got me two beautiful watches that I am in love with!

Friday I came home to 2 gifts from 2 sweet friends! Thought I'd share some of the sweet gifts I got this year...

Weekend

We had a busy weekend around here! Everyone was in town for my sister's baby shower & we also celebrated my birthday! My sweet best friend Melissa even came over with my parents to spend my birthday weekend with me & help with the shower! The shower went great and Anna got so many sweet gifts for baby Hagen! After the shower we went to cookout at Ty's house for my birthday as well as his dads! His dads birthday is the day after mine so we usually have a joint party. I realized how old I was getting when the party fizzled down about 8pm. Whoo hoo! Apparently thats happens when you turn 25, huh? ;)

Sunday we did a little shopping & then had Sunday night spaghetti dinner at my cousins house! Love seeing all my family!!!!

When I got home last night I did not like how quiet it was. I absolutely love having everyone here filling up all the beds and sleeping in random places around the house. I can tell already that when I have my own house I am going to LOVE having guests. I loved walking in my bathroom last night finding 5 towels hanging anywhere & everywhere. I loved finding 10 water bottles in my room half empty. I am such a people person and love having people here.

The weekend sadly ended & Monday came with a bang. For starters, i spilled white out all over my new black pants this morning at school. It wouldn't come off so I had to walk around all day with two white spots on my thighs. And they might be ruined...,I have treated them & washed them and the stain is still there. :( if you have any ideas, please share!!!

Almost Friday

I've been laying in bed since 7:30 and am too tired to get up to shower!!

First week has gone absolutely wonderful but....

This is how I'm feeling & I'm too tired for more of an update....

Last day before school

Here is what I did on my last day before school:
-mom & I bonded over shopping
-crafted up a storm
-bought cute baby Hagen stuff
-ate yogurt mountain (s'mores & peanut butter yogurt with coco krispies on top - don't judge)
-went to our Japanese steakhouse for dinner
-painted my nails to match my toes for the first day of school!

Oops

Tonight I spent $9 on 2 bottles of nail polish. This is not like me. I buy the cheapest stuff out there, but I had been to 3 stores looking for something for my kids binders and had no luck so I thought I deserved a present. A "back to school" present if you will. :)

Ps- im completely obsessed with coral & turquoise! Anyone else?
